All of this now provides the whole of the construction industry throughout the UK with the means to show they can meet the criteria set out in the CDM Regulations in Appendix 4.

The Competence Registry (c) 2010 goes an inventive step further by providing all CDM-C’s and those who undertake that statutory role with the ability to demonstrate they meet the Criteria set out in Appendix 5 too!

Please have a ’play’ with the new functionality ~ it won’t hurt anything and is your own space - no one else has access to the information on your database ... only you control that when you need to download a current transcript and print that off locally when you may need it. That way is totally meeting the CDM role holders’ reversed burden of proof ~ something new and very unique that no one else can do! ...

Whilst the Council of the London Borough of Bromley has used its reasonable endeavours to ensure that the content on this Registry is accurate and complete and provides the unique functionality for users to have their entered data validated by independent third parties it does not warrant that such individuals who use the Registry to store their own data and who validate the data will in all circumstances act in accordance with the terms of the Registry and all users of the website should carry out their own due diligence before accepting any individual as having sufficient competence to perform in the role identified by the user

Those persons or organisations who are provided with output material from the Competence Registry MUST MAKE THEIR OWN ASSESSMENT OF THE MATERIAL PROVIDED AND DRAW THEIR OWN CONCLUSIONS without attaching any liability whatsoever to the Council of the London Borough of Bromley or any of its officers.

Please note that you are only permitted to use the materials within the application and are not permitted to copy materials for any of the following:

~ Reuse in original format or following derivation in a hard copy based document management system

~ Reuse in original format or following derivation in a different electronic document management system

~ Modification or derivation of the materials for use outside of your organisation
