IGB Mission Statement

Our mission is to create a CDM culture to improve health and safety within the construction industry:

  • To ensure the Registered Members of CDM2007.org have suitable and sufficient training available to enable them to ensure health and safety is fully integrated into the management of any construction project
  • To encourage everyone involved to work together to improve the planning and management of projects from the very start
  • To encourage everyone to identify hazards early on, so they can be eliminated or reduced at the design or planning stage
  • To encourage everyone to ensure remaining risks are properly managed
  • To encourage every effort to ensure the most good in terms of health and safety
  • To ensure health and safety considerations are made an essential but normal core of any project
